Getting to Beycik

Cheap flights are available direct to Antalya with flythomascook.com and easyjet. BA (direct) and Turkish Airlines (via Istanbul) are more expensive but more comfortable and flexible. Allow between 120 and 250 GBP return fare - depending on dates chosen.

Antalya Airport is 10 km east of the city center. Havas airport shuttle buses connect the airport's Domestic Terminal with the city center and the Antalya Otogar (intercity bus terminal). Tickets cost TL10 for the 30-minute trip. A taxi to the otogar may cost TL20 to TL30 in the daytime.

Every 30 minutes buses leave Antalya otogar for Finike or Kumluca. After 70km (1 hour on the bus) you pass the Beycik turn-off (this is about 6km. beyond the Tekirova turn-off). There is no public transport up this road. Either walk the 4km. or hitch a lift. Otherwise get off the bus at Tekirova and get a taxi - about 20TL.

If coming by car follow the Kemer signs all the way from Antalya or Antalya Airport then continue along the main road to Kumluca to pass Tekirova then 6km beyond you arrive at the Beycik turn-off. The first landmark in Beycik is a small shop on the right about 3km from the turn-off.

We are located in the Beykent development. This is best reached by passing the shop then mosque in lower Beycik, then after a sharp hairpin right taking a tarmac road to the right at the next hairpin. Here numerous signs lean against a wall. Continue for 200m to a concrete road leading up left into Beykent. Our house lies a further 200m on, it is the first house on the right of the concrete road.

In 2015 1 GBP = 3.5TL

Alternatives

Sometimes cheaper flights may be found to Dalman or Bodrum or Istanbul. Cheap and comfortable buses complete the journey.
